1) What this policy covers

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. It applies to the Site and any services that link to it.

a) Information you provide (forms & email)

• Email preferences: your subscription status and communication choices.

b) Information collected automatically (no cookies)

We run a custom, cookie-free tracking script that records:

• Usage data: pages viewed, link/call-to-action clicks, referring page, timestamps, approximate location (city/country).
• Technical data: IP address (which may be truncated or transformed), user-agent (browser/OS), and basic request metadata.

We do not use third-party ad trackers and we do not set cookies.

• Provide and improve the Site (diagnostics, performance, content planning).
• Respond to inquiries and provide support.
• Send emails you request (newsletters, updates); maintain list hygiene (deliveries/bounces).
• Security & abuse prevention (rate limiting, detecting suspicious activity).

5) Emails

• We send emails only when you opt in or as otherwise permitted.
• Every message includes an unsubscribe link; you can also email privacy@deployforge.co to opt out.
• Our email system may record basic events (send, deliver, open, click) to improve reliability.

6) Analytics & “Do Not Track”

• Our tracking is first-party and cookie-free.
• We honor the browser “Do Not Track” signal where available and suppress analytics for those sessions.
• You can request analytics opt-out at privacy@deployforge.co.

7) Sharing your data (processors)

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:

• Hosting/infrastructure to run the Site.
• CRM (HubSpot) to store and manage form submissions and contacts.
• Email delivery provider to send newsletters/updates.

These providers may process data in other countries and may use standard contractual safeguards. They are obligated to use data only under our instructions. We do not sell personal information.

8) Data retention

• Form & CRM data: retained while we have an ongoing business need (e.g., active subscription/request) or until you ask us to delete it.
• Email list data: kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Server/analytics logs: kept for a limited period (typically 30–90 days) unless needed longer for security or legal reasons.

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (TLS in transit, access controls, least-privilege). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10) International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) with our processors.

11) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data; object to certain uses; or withdraw consent (e.g., marketing emails).
